After nine years since our last visit, we returned to the Grotta di San Giovanni d'Antro, in the valley of Natisone, accompanied by friends of the group Caving Forum Julii of Cividale.
This visit was the reconnaissance trip to the CAI Dolo we do in May. We had memorized again the path in the branch of the difficulties and refreshment trays, naturally, we came here to do some 'photos.
The thing that makes it unique is the presence fortified church that is located at the entrance, rich in history and very characteristic.
After the 300m stretch of the tour, which starts the caving occurs immediately with the passage of a lake to be carried out with the dinghy.
Luckily we had brought our own, because the one supplied to the cave was much to be desired and we all have appreciation for the size, comfort and quality of our boat. Tse! Vojo own vedàr if Venexiana of whether the move with sgnanfo bate! ;-)
took some pictures in the Hall Tellini, we climbed up the slide to enter the larger room Lazzarini (But we have photographed on the return).
The limestone rock is very special, initially light gray and then towards the bottom, dark gray.
Our guides took advantage of our apparatus lights to "steal" photos, so be it! Who knows what to them is the desire (and patience!) To get to do some decent picture having the right vehicles.
exiting the cave we could not fly very excuse ourselves from the farm below where we Gastaldia of Antro jelly of amazing wild garlic fettuccine; SLURP!
Special thanks to the guys in the band of Cividale for logistical support and assistance given, to make good!
